We pride ourselves on being a caring church - you can find us in Park Green, Macclesfield

Whilst serving the community of Macclesfield, Cheshire, we are able to look beyond our fine Victorian building, recently refurbished, to the greater needs around us. Our weekly coffee mornings have been able to support various charities through generous giving. These recently include a charity in Moldova called 'Breadline'. The Community for Reconciliation, Christian Aid, Just Drop In (supporting unemployed young people), Christians Against Poverty, Macmillan Cancer Support, Shelter (for homeless people), The Alzheimer's Society and Arthritis UK.

COMMITMENT FOR LIFE is very important to all United Reformed Churches and is organised through our involvement with Christian Aid. It encourages all churches to take action, pray and give for people across the world. Last year £550,000 was raised to help the root causes of poverty.

75% goes to Christian Aid to be divided equally amongst our 4 partner countries Bangladesh, Jamaica, Palestine and Zimbabwe. 10% is donated to The World Development Movement and 15% is kept for administration, resources and grant giving. It is the recommended way for all United Reformed Churches to respond to the greater needs of our world through Christian Aid. We are privileged to share in this project and invite you to join us.

The facilities include ramped access, induction loop, accessible toilet facilities at the rear of the church plus a kitchen area and a smaller room to the rear of the church which can be used for a variety of activities.

The church is also available for services, eg for schools and uniformed organisations, and for concerts. These should be of a suitable nature for a church setting.

The Church at Park Green has been fully refurbished. Enquiries concerning weddings, baptisms and funerals should be made at the church office - please note your call will be diverted to our church secretary. You may be asked to leave a message but your call will be returned as soon as possible.
